These fish finders can come flying out of cradle in rough waters and there is nothing to stop them from flying in the floor of the boat or worse going out to sea.
I make them with either the round hole or slot. Specify witch you want when ordering.
The slot ones are easier to take on and off while the ones with round holes are more secure. I use the ones with round holes and just take my fish finder off at the mount.
I have a friend that requested this because his unit is at the bottom of the lake right now.
